So The Dark Knight Wasn't Heath's Last Film?

Im sure 99.9% of you are quiet aware of the magnificant performance the late Heath Ledger served in playing the vile villian "Joker" in Christopher Nolans latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight".

Yet soon after the shooting of his parts, Heath Ledger pas
sed away after accidently mixing a perscribed pain medication, due to back pain, with sleeping pills.

(note: his death had nothing to do with his role as playing the Joker. That was just a bunch of rubbish put together by the press)

Now as far as I knew, that was the last role Ledger would make in cinema. Yet to my surprise, the movie he had started to work on after TDK, is still going to make it to the big screen.

This is a screenshot of Heath Ledger playing the character "Tony". This clip is on YouTube, and you can watch a huge chunck of it here:

Now I watched an interesting interview with director Terry Gillam and he talked about how he was very lucky to get most of Heath's shooting completed before his untimely death.

Now according to IMDB.com Heaths character also takes on other forms, based on different characters dreams and perceptions. And the actors portraying Tony's other transformations are Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell.

Now that, my friends, is AMAZING.

I am very pumped for this. Sadly, this film does not yet have a U.S. distributer yet. So we may not be seeing this movie for awhile to come.

Release date is october 16th 2009, in Italy.
