Well as quick as I wanted summer to come, I am now quickly escorting it out the back door. I wish I could say that the summer just flew by, but it was quiet the opposite. This summer dragged on like a dog with a itch on its rear end. Granted I had an enjoyable time, and I have grown so much this summer, I can't wait for things to get back to normal.
Getting up at 6:30 every morning for the past 9 weeks puts a tole on one's self. Working out in the hot Florida sun can exhaust a person withing minuets. My purpose for this post is not to whine, for this summer was a time where I needed to go serve God by serving others.
Its just that being down here in Florida puts me in a position of what I feel is defenseless. I feel that a lot of things that happened this summer could have been avoided if I wasn't tied down to work. I probably lost one of the most important people in my life due to the fact that I am tied up from 6:30 AM til 11:30 PM.
I miss my home and feel that I should be there with my family in the last moments that we will all be together. And here i sit, prolly about as far south as I can get from my family.
Im ready to go back to school. Honestly, I need to go back. I feel that maybe if I go back I can fix some things.
I am pretty sure I am going to be in the Liberty Drumline this year. Which I am very excited about. I am also going to be playing in the Worship band for Thomas Roads college group on sunday mornings with Andrew Charron. I will be attempting to get a job at the Student Center at school. And I will also be trying out for the Drama Departments show "My Fair Lady" which means I need to desperately work on my British accent.
I have more to talk of later. I have some reviews of stuff, and some things to share.
Until then,
Clay

Foxboro Hot Tubs

So today at Barnes and Noble I picked up a new album titled "Stop Drop And Roll!!!" by a band called Foxboro Hot Tubs.
Now for a long time rumors passed as to who this band was, and finally a couple of weeks ago the culprits came forward and revealed who their true identity is.
Green Day had this to say: "
We think that the only similarity [between the Hot Tubs and Green Day] is that we are the same band. That is basically the only similarity," the Hot Tubs, er, Green Day, wrote in the e-mail. "We are Jason White, Jason Freese, Michael Pritchard, Frank Edwin Wright the Third and the Reverend Strychnine Twitch. ... We are four guys who love to play music and be spontaneous, [and] after a few late night jams and a few too many bottles of wine, we were inspired to record some rockin' eight-track recordings."
And that is exactly what it is. 12 tracks of classic rock bliss. U havent herd it through but once and im on my second pass through, so I havent come to a final conclusion on it yet, but I totally suggest you pick it up. It was 12.99 which is kinda cheap for a cd, you can get it iTunes or Amazon or whatever.

Ahhh the famous first post!
So here it is. A new start to another new blog. The purpose to this blog will be to post ideas and updates on a number of things. My novels I am working on: A Tale Of Torn Love, and The Broken Circle. And not that I need another one right now, but I will also be starting a new novel some time soon, so stay posted for that.
Also I am going to be writing a Musical with a good friend of mine named Dan Martin. So stay tuned for that.
And I will also be writing/recording some new songs this summer, and they will all be put on here.
So thanks for reading, and I look forward to posting some sweet stuff!
